I don’t like Hitz FM mainly because they keep playing the same few songs for a few months, particularly songs by Rihanna. It gets really annoying hearing the same thing again and again even after a few months. They should start playing some songs that are not too mainstream.
Due to the aforementioned reason, I prefer other radio stations even though they might not play the latest songs all the time but at least they are not so repetitive.
Nonetheless, JJ and Ean are a funny duo and I enjoy their parodies and gotcha calls. They really know how to make us laugh.
Being stuck in traffic has never been so great!
A few months ago as I was working part time, driving to work had never been so awesome! Accompanied by the Hitz.fm morning crew, there was little I could complain about even when I was stuck in traffic. During that time, JJ and Ean were still part of the morning crew and the synergy they had was superb. I loved what they had always prepared for the 'victims' in the prank call. It really brightens up my day and helps in getting rid of any fatigue I had from lack of sleep. It seems that laughter is the best medicine after all.
The song choices however are kind of boring. I know that they play the latest hits. But I do think they should change songs every few days. Personally for me, tuning to 100.8 is like hearing a broken record. It's always the same song everyday. Fortunately, they arranged the song in a different manner everyday. That way, I would not feel as if I was listening to a playlist in my iPod without the shuffle mode.
Every Morning Entertainment.
Hitz.FM is my favourite radio station in Malaysia with Fly.FM being a close second. I enjoy English radio shows and I also love English Music. I don't mean just the musicians from the United Kingdom, I mean english language-based music. I enjoy listening to JJ & Ean every morning with their gotcha calls and their contagious laughter. It got a bit bland since Jinn & Ryan took over the morning show but I guess I haven't gotten used to them yet.
I went to the Hitz.FM studio in Astro Broadcast Centre on late 2011 as my classmate got an invitation for Hitz Live! I was pretty excited about it. I got to see them do the show right in front of my face. They even showed us how the machines work as well as what the words and numbers that appear on the screen means. I even got on air for a short while as they Jinn & Ryan forced me to say hi to a friend by myself. So yes, I was on air for a brief moment.
It was also thanks to that very event that I've decided on my goal in life. My goal to become an English Radio Show Host.
92.9 every day!
Hitz.fm is always the first channel I switch on when I step into my car! Especially when it comes to JJ and Ean. They two are the most genuinely nice and funny people around. I met them recently at a charity event and they are really funny real life and not to forget friendly too!
Hitz plays really mainstream songs but that IS the purpose of radios, ain't it? To promote the upcoming and best songs played around the world! So obviously, hitz is the radio station to tune in to!
Favourite English station all the time
I love to tune in Hitz.fm all the time! It introduces latest songs to me and that's why it keep me updated. I just love the Hitz.fm morning crew, JJ and Ean. They two are funny! And I love the 'gotcha' call which plays on every weekday morning. It simply delight my day :)
Besides that, they are always spoof the famous songs! The most recent one should be "Oppa KL Style" which from the original song "Oppa Gangnam Style" and that's really humorous!
In addition, I love the Rick Dees session on everyday saturday night, which I will listen to every weekend. It keeps me updated with the popular songs in America.
Lovin' this station!
I've loved tuning in to Hitz FM ever since I was a teen. i chanced upon it one day, and I've been hooked ever since. With the latest songs and chirpy deejays, Hitz FM is definitely one of my favourites.
Their "Hitz Free Weekend" is one of the best, where all the coolest songs are played with minimal interruptions and I always get maximum listening pleasure. Plus the joking around of the deejays and the horseplay always seem to tickle my funny bone!
I hope they don't change their formula and stick to their current programming. It's nice to listen to this energetic station!
