A new experience
I used to love climbing as a child but as I get older, I became afraid of heights. Like they said, curiosity kills the cat and some said polar bears. I am a very curious person and I cannot resist the temptation to try many things that terrifies me.
An hour climb costs RM48 per person. My legs trembled when I climbed the wall. The scariest part is climbing down. One safety rope is designed so that you would hang on the height you are at when you let go of the wall. For that, you have to slowly walk down the wall.
Another type of safety rope is scarier as it is the free fall type. For a second you would free fall pretty fast but after that the rope will slowly move you down. The scariest part is letting go and free fall. I climbed just 3 metres for this as I was really terrified. The coach actually pulled my legs as I was afraid to let go.
It was a new experience but I don't think I would try this again because I am really afraid of heights. Trying it once has already satisfied my curiosity.
