The first convenience store I can think of
7-Eleven has been around long enough for me to remember as a small kid. Seriously, if anyone asked me for convenience store names, 7-Eleven will be as clear as day in my head with other stores like mynews.com taking quite awhile for me to remember. There's plenty around Kelana Jaya alone from SS1 to SS6.
Most of the 7-Eleven workers are immigrant workers from Bangladesh and Nepal. Which means that depends on where you go, you may have a hard time conversing with them. One thing I don't like about 7-Eleven is how expensive prices of their items have been as of late. I remember buying a can of soft drink like Pepsi last time at RM1.40. Now it is set at RM2.20 which was more expensive than the bottled version.
Then again, it is meant for convenience so if you have other options, like a petrol kiosk, do go for that other options to save money.
