Step into a new world
It is no secret that the overall interior design of the restaurant is made to attract attention and to introduce customers to a whole new dining experience. The outlet I went to was located in Penang Times square and what attracted me the most was of course the Victorian era design of the entire restaurant. The servers were also dressed in cute pink dresses and tuxedos which further increased the ambiance and credibility of the establishment.
The food served tasted good and is priced reasonably. You will get an assortment of Western cuisine to dine on and this is definitely a place worth revisiting.
It has a very nice interior decoration. I think it is a nice place for couples as it is very pretty and has a nice ambience. The food was not good though, but that is to be expected of a typical cafe. I ordered a plate of spaghetti which tasted mediocre.
The clothes are quite pretty too and I actually bought a few. There are a variety of cute accessories too which are nice to look at. I would say that the service is not great, takes a long time to get noticed. Even after a waitress had taken notice of me, she asked me to wait for a while and forgot about me after that so I had to call another waitress. I could let that go as it was a new cafe back then.
Might as well go elsewhere for pasta
Fullhouse is one of those places where students wouldn't think of going for fear that their wallets might get a black hole installed in. I was one of those students. But one day after my class finished in 2012, my classmates and I journeyed to Sunway Pyramid in search for food. It is normal to find the restaurants in Sunway Pyramid to be full during lunch hour. So we had no choice but to go to Fullhouse as it was the only place that had open seats at the time.
Pretty much most of the items on the menu costed an arm and a leg but the pastas weren't too bad as they are priced below RM20. Me, being the cheapskate I was at the time, ordered the Aglio Olio. It was okay but I would've definitely had a better time at Italliannies as it tastes betted there and I would've had a bigger portion over with a just a little price increment. Guess that was the price for being a cheapskate.
It's a just a beautiful place
I was so eager to pay a visit to this restaurant after seeing their nice interior decoration on the internet and knowing most people that I knew have been here and posted pictures of it don't help either. So one fine day, I decided to go here for a meal and to just feel the vibe.
I was utterly impressed with this place. Everything looks so nice, girly and very English-looking. Besides serving as a restaurant, they also have a corner selling various items like clothes and accessories but nothing catches my eyes as they're just too boring.
The waiter was so slow in taking our orders and I was a bit disappointed upon seeing their choice of menu. Although they are a plenty but nothing really can suit my taste bud. I ended up having a chicken chop and that was the worst decision ever as it's just so blah and tasteless.
This place is only nice for photo taking or having drinks with friends. Other than that they'er just nothing. Just a pretty place without great food. That's all.
Beautiful Ambience, Average food.
The atmosphere in this restaurant is wonderful. It makes you feel like you're eating in your own mansion, and it even has a small fountain in the restaurant. Being a first time customer, the manager even gave me a free coffee and cake to try own. The service is good, with friendly waiters around.
Unfortunately, I am unable to say the same about the food. I ordered their chicken chop, and it just didn't taste as good as I expected to be. It felt a little dry, lacking the sauce for it. I still recommend it to everyone, because the ambience is what makes the restaurant so special.
I have heard most of my rich friend been here before and they posted a lot of nice photo taken in the restaurant. So it was my turn to visit the place and I found out they really have good setting where you can take awesome photos and show off with your friends but when come to food, they are not so great. I ordered algo olio and cabonara, I was surprise with their serving portion. It is so small that I can finish two dishes alone! I guess you need to pay a lot to dine in a cozy restaurant like this. I would only recommend this place if you plan to spend some money and take good photo in the restaurant.
Not worth it except for the lunch set.
I would not recommend this restaurant for you to visit, unless you are coming for their value set lunch.
To be honest, their foods are in small portions and expensive as well, especially the beverages which I think most of them are quite overpriced.
So normally I will only visit this place during lunch hour on weekdays as I think their set lunch is more worth it – roughly RM20 for a main course that comes with soup of the day, iced lemon tea and dessert. The only thing I like about Fullhouse is their mashed potatoes and the gravy which I personally think is quite different from others.
