Maybe I'm just not into Dak Gal Bi
I love Korean barbeque such as the pork belly. Watching Running Man makes me crave for Korean food all the time. I wish there would be Korean restaurants in Malaysia that offer grilled intestines etc. Yes, you guess it, I'm Chinese!
The Dak Gal Bi is reasonably priced. The only food Uncle Jang sells is Dak Gal Bi. Service was good as the workers were polite and did not show unhappy faces when they had to rush here and there to cook for many customers, unlike a certain Korean restaurant...
We only added ramen since I was craving for it but in the end, it's as if everything in the dak gal bi tastes the same. The dal gal bi was okay, but I'm just not very fond of it. Perhaps I'm not the type who likes it when everything mixes together till everything tastes pretty much the same like bibimbap.
Dak-galbi is the bomb!
If you are a fan of Korean food, this is one place you should definitely not miss.
Unlike those Korean barbeque restaurants such as DaoRae and Da Sa Rang, Uncle Jang is renowned for their signature dish called Dak-galbi. Having a concept similar to DaoRae, the staff will do the cooking in front of you.
They even offer a wide variety of Sari (additional dishes) like ramen, udon, fried rice and many more to be added to your Dak-galbi. Please do note that their food portion is quite large. There were six of us and a total of 3 sets of Dak-galbi and 3 sets of Udon Sari was just nice for all of us.
I don’t really fancy Korean food but I fell deeply in love with Dak-galbi. All the ingredients mixed very well with the special sauce. Great food at reasonable prices, and filling enough afterall.
