Nothing to Rave About
The restaurant with the Authentic Nasi Padang tagline, Sari Ratu restaurant is this place I often pass by since I live in Kelana Jaya. I was curious as to why there seems to be a lot of people coming to this place. Was it because of lunch hour or was the food really nice? Rather than coming to my own conclusions by instinct, I might as well give it a try and come up with a fair judgement.
I didn't know what to order so I told my friend to order whatever it is he's ordering. I had white rice, Ayam Kampung, Rendang and Bakso. The Bakso tasted like something that would be perfect if I was having a fever. It is soup after all. The Rendang didn't seem fresh and it didn't taste like the Rendang I was accustomed to. But it was decent to say the least. The Ayam Kampung was a bit dry but it's still quite nice.
It was an okay dining experience but I can't seem to find a reason to want to eat here again. I might do it but I just can't see it to be any time in the near future.
