Good and spicy
This is one of the two popular Indian restaurants at Bangsar. I have forgotten the name of the other one. My friend suggested me to try this since she said that this one is better. The popular food here is the banana leaf rice.
The banana leaf rice comes with curry and a few vegetable dishes. There are a few curries you can choose from such as crab, fish, chicken, etc. I chose the crab curry because I have not tried any crab curry in my life. The other types of curry are easily available at pretty much any Indian or mamak restaurants.
The crab curry was delicious and I highly recommend it. It was pretty spicy though. Luckily I requested the man to pour on just a tiny bit of curry because even a tiny bit to him means a huge scoop of curry. He gave so much curry to the other customers that it looks like a flood of curry on the rice. Perhaps this is the way Indians eat their rice. With curry, you can really eat a lot of rice without realising it. We were very full after finishing our meals that our plan to eat desserts was cancelled.
My friend ordered fried chicken and fried squid which were not good choices in my opinion because they tasted like average fried chicken and fried squid. I think we should have picked a more "Indian" choice.
