Mamak stall that is famous for only two dishes
Walk around Melaka and ask for the best mamak stall in town, and they will almost certainly lead you here. It is very mysterious how this mamak stall can win over so many customers solely on their cheese nann and tandoori chicken dishes. I have had the chance to taste them and I must say that those dishes are indeed spectacular in their own way. The cheese is very creamy and filling whereas the tandoori chicken is very fragrant and tender. Truly a great place to try a different take on these popular dishes. I highly recommend this place to tourists and locals alike!
A must-try food in Malacca.
I think there is no one in Malacca who doesn’t know about this famous mamak shop which serves the best Cheese Naan and Tandoori Chicken in town. I was brought here for the first time by a friend who is a local in Malacca.
When I looked around the tables at this mamak shop, almost everyone is having cheese naan and tandoori chicken instead of any other mamak food. I saw a table of foreign tourists as well. I believe their naan and tandoori are really popular then.
I have had many cheese naan’s in Kuala Lumpur, and I can say that theirs is one of the best cheese naan’s I’ve ever had. Not to forget their tandoori chicken. No disappointment after all.

Pak Putra is a mamak styled restaurant that serves Tandoori Chicken and North Indian Cuisine.
I usually have the Tandoori Chicken which is the best dish there and to accompany it I will usually order a triple garlic cheese naan.
For the North Indian dishes, the butter chicken is creamy and delicious. The other dish to try is Aloo Gobi which is cauliflower and potatoes cooked in yogurt and spices.
Besides that it also serves mamak style food such as nasi lemak and roti canai. If the Tandoori chicken is too spicy, there's always the iconic teh tarik or the fresh and sweet mango lassi to soothe the burn.
