A Great Photo-op
I came here when I got off the Masjid Jamek LRT station to find a tailor to make a baju melayu for me. I walked quite a big round just to see what's happening in the bazaar there. I walked and walked until I eventually reached Pasar Seni. It's not too far but it can definitely make people tired.
Anyway, I remember passing by Malayan Railways Limited Building here a lot as kid while in the car with my father. He told me a lot about this place back then...which I can't really remember though, something about old history. As far I know, this building is pretty old but it is still quite solid and stable. Doesn't look like it's going to crumble any time soon.
If you're walking around Kuala Lumpur looking for places to take pictures or looking for some architectural inspiration then this place is a must-go.
A monument that stands out
I appreciate old buildings, especially if they are from another time That is exactly what this place is. Located right opposite the Pasar Seni, the building is easy to spot.
I didn't mange to enter the building so I didn't have a chance to take a closer look, which was a shame. The building is still very well maintained and I enjoyed the architecture that was left by the Collonial British. Still a good place to take photos though.
