Nice place to dine alfresco

Tosca was introduced to me by a friend who suggested we go try it out one day. The first time I laid eyes on that place I found the place to be quite cosy and comfortable. Everyone dines alfresco here as it is quite open and is facing the hotel’s pool. After the attendant took our orders, we were served a huge basket of freshly baked bread with olive oil, butter and pumpkin paste to be eaten with our bread. I tried their Piccata di pollo which is egg battered chicken breast that comes together with garlic mash potatoes, mushroom sauce and two big pieces of buttered broccoli. The chicken when eaten on its own tasted quite dry but when eaten together with the mash potatoes and mushroom it tasted quite nice. But next time I will be ordering something else.

Another friend of mine tried their Lamb (medium rare) which was juicy and appetizing as the sauce was sour and tangy at the same time. The strong taste of the sauce successfully covered any of the lamb strong taste. The orange juice we ordered was freshly squeezed with no added sugar so it was a tad sour but healthy. As for dessert, we tried their Italian cassata and the portion was so small. The sauce was super sour but tasted just nice when eaten together with the sponge cake, ice-cream and whipped cream.
