A unique stall operates at this coffee shop which is located in Jalan Dato Kramat, next to Honolulu Pub. The stall owner serves "Tai Loke" Mee or, "Hokkien Char" Mee which many Penangites have thought to be the best in Penang. It offers a unique eating experience that you can otherwise only enjoy in Kuala Lumpur as the style of cooking originated from there.

A Slice of KL in Penang
I had heard about this place from many friends and decided to bring my fmaily over for dinner. Since it was a small coffee shop, there was little to no ambience value but that was fine as the famous "Tai Loke" Mee more than made up for it.
The first thing you would notice is how fast the chef cooks up your order. The Mee was cooked and ready to be served before we had even warmed up our seats. Before we began to eat, I noticed how there was a heavy smell of soy sauce eminating from the food which made my mouth water. The noodles were soft and full of flavor. It is served with a mix of meatballs, prawns and slices of cabbage which all serve to enhance the taste of the dish overall.
Needless to say the restaurant is now added to our growing list of favorite places to eat.
