Great local burger to rival fast food chains
It is not easy to make burgers that are better than the likes of Mcdonalds and Wendy's. Many people love their tasty burgers but to me, those burgers have always lacked the local flair. Something that makes the burger, a Malaysian Burger. I had heard about this place from a friend of mine who shared the same opinion about burgers. We jumped at the chance and son stood in line for it. Because we were food critics, we wanted to taste as many different burgers as possible and we ordered a few beef burgers and chicken burgers. Our verdict is that you cannot get a more authentic burger than the one you can have here. Very recommended.
Beef Burger that isn't too great
I remember accompanying my friend to wangsa maju some time ago to satisfy his hunger and craving of a good burger. Now you'd be surprised too if you were to find a simple burger stall to have long lines, especially in Malaysia. We went here because of all the hype by the posts we saw on facebook.
So we had to take a number and we both ordered a triple beef patty burger with cheese. It totaled to about rm15 each if I am not mistaken. It was definitely big enough to compare with the likes of Chili's Old Timer burger but that's as far as it goes. The taste, while better than any Ramli Burger out there, is good but pretty average for its looks and definitely better than the double cheeseburger at McDonald's. I blame this on my high expectations though.

I am pretty sure that most of the KL-ites know about the burger that has built a legendary reputation for its queues and grilled history – Burger Bakar Kaw Kaw.
From what I heard, this burger joint uses take-a-number system for waiting and sometimes the number you get can be up to 200. I can’t imagine the waiting time for burger to be served. Based on these legendary reputations, I was expecting the best.
I did not go to the main branch in Wangsa Maju but the one in Puchong. Surprisingly, my burger was served within 15 minutes. I ordered a set of Turkeynizer which comes with three sausages topped with cheesy sauce.
It was disappointing indeed as the slice of chicken patty was deep fried instead of grilled. But it was quite tender, juicy and crispy. Not so legendary overall, or probably their grilled beef burger would be better. Too bad I don’t eat beef. No offense but I think myBurgerLab is way better than this.
Best street burger you can get
I love beef burger but I seldom get a good treat of beef burger until I found this simply burger stall where their patty is homemade and is twice as thick as regular patty that we have seen. I believe their patties are fresh as well because you can see them prepare the patty at the stall. Overall the burger was very good, fresh patty combine with cheese grilled to perfect dark brown color. They are famous for some reason. It was not cheap where you will spend most likely more than RM5 for your burger. However I think it is worth the price.
