Golf Sim!

I have a friend who's been a pro-golfer since he was a kid. He invited me to this place when he came back to Malaysia for his holidays. I didn't know how to play golf so I took the lesson they had here. I thought they were really going to bring me to an actual golf field. Instead they had me practice at their very own golf simulator.

I've only seen golf simulators on youtube, in particular, a video about this pro golf driver actually wrecking a golf simulator with a single drive as his shot was too strong for the simulator. The trainer, Brian, taught me how to properly hold the golf club as well as how to properly swing it. He said that even a slight twitch on the golf club could make a big difference to the shot. It was pretty interesting and insightful. Pretty expensive but worth it if you're interested in learning how to golf.

Malaysian Tiger Woods in training

I visited this center a couple years back because I was seriously interested in starting golfing seriously. I spent some time in the course playing and swinging golf balls in the range. Testing out different techniques and using the many clubs which were available for rent. The club had an impressive collection of everything gold related, from videos to gloves, tees and even to branded golf clubs. You could rent clubs which are rated from low end to high end.

Do be warned that rent charges are quite steep and that's what stopped me from practicing more than I wanted to. I enlisted the service of one of their friendly personal trainers and had the chance to learn many techniques to improve my game. Hwoever I felt distraught sometimes because the techniques taught by every trainer were different and I had to waste time learning new ones.

It is still the number one gold centre to go to if you are a serious golfing enthusiast.
