Earphones, media players and free demos!
As an audio enthusiast, I practically run off to any shops that sell audio related components. From headphones, to earphones and even the portable media players all astound me.
Sony produced some earphones that were within my budget and I had to say they, they sounded pretty good. However, they were weren't what I was looking for in an earphone. I have really picky ears and personally, they lack the extra oomph to impress me. I also find the sound quality of their mp3 players to be moderate at best. However, I guess it was expected as personal audio might not be Sony's main selling point.
I'm also particularly interested at their gaming console. However, due to the short comings of my internet connection, refrained from buying them as it would be boring to play without the online multiplayer.
I think the most wonderful thing that you experience while shopping for electronics here are the friendly staffs that greets you and tend to your every question without frustration. They also gave unbiased recommendation as one of them actually recommended a laptop which was cheaper than the one that I was initially planning to get, ignoring personal needs for a commission and putting the needs of the customers before them. Now that is professionalism.
Playstations, Playstations Everywhere.
I have been a consumer of Sony's products and their fan ever since I was 7 years old. It all happened on my 7th birthday when my father knew the Sega Saturn was already broken and that my siblings and I had nothing much for entertainment at home. My birthday present from my father was the Playstation 1. It was probably the best present I've ever gotten in my life.
Fast forward to 2007, my eldest brother bought me a Playstation 3 from Sony Centre. The workers there were very polite and helpful. I was pretty satisfied with the purchase. I remember coming to the Sony Centre in 1 Utama with my brother while holding the wireless controller and played the PS3 there. They didn't realize that we had our own controllers for a while which was really funny.
