A nice place to window shop, unless it's an emergency!

I remembered having a date with someone last year. My date came late and my sweat was pouring. I had to go look for a t-shirt and so, I went to Metrojaya as it was the only shop that seemed inside my price range. Needless to say, I bought a shirt for RM29 and everything went fine.

Stories aside, I think the shop is cheaper compared to the other outlets such as Padini and Quicksilver. The shirt was just nice and luckily for me, it was on sale. The fitting room is a bit small for me. Another good thing was that there are always little to no queue at the counter. Besides clothes, they also have some item for home decorations such as bed sheets and decorative plates and also useful daily items such as the simple water bottles.

One thing that I dislike about the Metrojaya branch where I visited is that I can't seem to get a cell phone reception in there. This problem proved to be a nuisance to me as it was difficult for me to contact the other members of my family when we go on a family outing and are looking for our own things.

Is it just me or is the place sepia-toned?

I haven't been to Metrojaya in ages as the last time was when my father was still active in bring my family together for an outing in shopping malls. As he always accompanied me to video game shops, I had to return the favour by accompanying him to Metrojaya. I didn't mind of course as I might just be lucky enough to get my father to buy me extra clothes.

Whenever I'm in Metrojaya, my view seems to be suddenly changed to sepia-tone. Well, it's probably because of the lighting but I can't help but feel a little depressed just by walking in it. It's pretty much the same as going to Parkson but my father seems to insist that it is better to buy clothes here. Clothes like formal-type clothes and accessories. From leather belts to slacks, it's pretty cheap and in good quality here.
