The clothes are really too expensive for me that the only item I have purchased from this store is a sweater which was RM60+ during sales. According to my friend at KL, there are always sales at MANGO and the pretty items will be really cheap. Unfortunately it doesn't happen often in Johor.
For the cheaper items below RM100, the materials are usually very thin. Some of the more expensive items really look good. I found a really nice grey dinner dress which cost RM200+. I think the price is ok for that dress but I don't really attend functions so I decided not to buy it :(
A great place to look for a gift
Whenever I am looking for a gift for someone, I usually put comfort and material quality ahead of pricing and I have to say, MANGO offered what I was looking for. The products however, are still kind of expensive for me.
Shopping at MANGO is no longer an awkward and new experience for me. There was a time when I was quite confused as to what to get for my girlfriend's birthday and I had to say, one of the staff there was pretty friendly with me and she even gave me some tips as to what kind of design a girl might like and what would match my girlfriend's skin tone. I guess she knows what she's doing as I had no complaints from my girlfriend. She also seem to like the sweater that I bought her.
Choices wise, I think that MANGO offers a modest selection and that there are something that you can't find in here. But that aside, I find everything to be perfect.
Old time favorite
I still remember how I always spend my monthly allowance on this shop, buying tops and skirts usually the ones on sale. Back then, the only fancy, well known and most affordable clothing line was MANGO.
Now, we have a vast choice of boutiques to compete with MANGO but I still frequent this shop a lot because it always brings the good feeling like I had years ago.
I love this shop because they always have the nicest clothing range, from formal to casual. Their blazers are the prettiest but somehow, I never get to love their pants because they're just too small. More to model's cutting.
My favorite part is the bags, actually. Although they're simple and nothing fancy, I still like them nonetheless. They're just perfect for my daily officewear and very durable yet reasonably priced.
