Nice oyster mee sua!

I always order the oyster mee sua without the oysters but with additional chicken and parsley because I don't like the taste of oysters. I like to have it as a snack as it is not very filling.

As for the XXL chicken and Happy Ricebox set, I don't bother to order them anymore as they taste very plain to me. I would recommend the sour plum potato fries which use sweet potatoes instead of potatoes.

I wish that they would hire people who are can speak basic BM, English and Chinese necessary for the business. I don't mind foreign workers at all if they can communicate well with locals.

XXL Crispy Chicken, Bang For The Buck

I was introduced to this by my friend while we were...skipping school during our SPM year. We had to rush as his mom was already picking us up at 1 Utama but we haven't had our lunch yet. So my friend suggested that instead of ordering a take away from a fast food restaurant, why not try something a little bit unusual? And thus came my first XXL Crispy Chicken.

I wasn't too bright at that time so I asked for extra spicy, which made my tongue practically incapacitated for a few hours. But the spiciness aside, it was something you would not expect to be delicious but the main point of me buying that at that time was that I could eat it on the go. Yes, you read that right, eating it on the go as they pack it in a way that you can bite it from the top, in similar style Hot & Roll packs their food for the customers.

Good Oyster Mee Sua

I was first attracted by their XXL Crispy Chicken. It is crispy, juicy, boneless and full of meat but it can not fill your stomach if you take it as lunch or dinner. Their famous Handmade Oyster Mee Sua is not bad at all. The dish is additive and appealing. You will get bowl of mee sua with oyster on top with some chicken floss and some greens as dressing. The portion is small but filling because the soup is starchy. Most of the time, I have to queue for my food, especially for their XXL Crispy Chicken. They also provide take away if you want to enjoy your meal at home.

My new favorite - Sour Plum Potato Fries.

Compared to the XXL Crispy Chicken, I prefer to eat their Happy Ricebox set more.

This is because I get to eat their fried chicken chop, and rice to fill up my stomach at the same time. The lunchbox is served with some pieces of bean curd and century eggs as well. It comes with a bottle of soy milk as well. And the lunchbox set only costs roughly RM10. A reasonable, and somehow “healthy” meal.

I normally don’t order any other dishes besides their fried chicken chop until a few weeks ago, the day when I had my first attempt at the Sour Plum Potato Fries, and I fell in love with it. The chemistry between the natural sweet taste of the sweet potatoes and the sour taste of the sour plum powder is really amazing.
