myBurgerLab, a burger joint owned by three guys on a simple mission: Serving simple, juicy, and satisfying burgers. What makes their burgers different from others suchs as McDonald's, Carl's Jr., or even Chilli's? The most obvious part would be the black, charcoal bun which makes it a Black Burger. Another reason would be their unique burger combinations with interesting names like 'Say Cheese2', 'A+', 'Beautiful Mess' and more.

Can burnt burgers really be that good?
Let me pause here and state that the burgers served here aren't really burnt, their just made to look that way. The buns are in fact still very fresh and soft, like they just came out of the baking oven. This place has gained much acclaim since its opening and more and more customers throng its outlets on a daily basis. Make no mistake, this is a gourmet burger set at a premium price. You have been warned!
Do take note that this place can get very busy especially during weekends so its best to come prepared.
You'd Probably Think That It Was Really Burnt The First Time
I came to this place with 2 classmates and a few seniors for an early dinner. After seeing numerous posts about myBurgerLab, it really made us crave for burgers and since the place wasn't far from where all of us stayed, we decided to go there. It's really near to where Nasi Lemak Seapark is.
Luckily, I did not come here with an empty stomach because the wait is really long, it was about 40 minutes until our orders came which was highly understandable due to high number of customers there at the time. It was highly unusual at first since I've never eating a burger in which the bun was black.
But don't let the looks fool you, it is really delicious. It wouldn't be fair to compare it with Chili's but the portion and taste is almost up to that level. It is good alternative to the burgers you find at Chili's or TGI Friday's and definitely worth every cent.
A black burger?
I love eating. And I would go anywhere and everywhere to eat something that interests me. And hearing about the oh-so-famous, black burger, why not!
I've seen many pictures all over the internet by my friends and decided to give it a shot and went with my few friends. We heard that the place is usually really packed so we headed there early! The shop opens at 5pm so we went reached at 430pm and waited in the car. By 445pm, we saw people waiting outside the restaurant! So we followed and when we queued, we were number 16 already!
The food there takes about 30mins to be served but I would say it is definitely worth is! The Shiitake Mushroom Burger was really tasty and juicy. But the best part of it for me was the fries! Crispy and nicely seasoned, it is served with really delicious, slightly spicy, mayonaise sauce. Although it's pretty pricey, I'd go back there cause I think it IS value for my money!
Not your ordinary burger.
My friends and I got quite excited when we saw this black burger on Facebook, and we decided to discover this burger place.
Not only the charcoal bun is unique, they also added some secret ingredients into their burgers like caramelized onions and Parmesan crisps, which really make the burger go from great to awesome. Their fries are good too. And I personally like their special dipping sauce for the fries very much.
One thing is, you have to expect to wait at least half an hour for the food to be served. But to me, the waiting time is acceptable since the burger is worth the wait. However, getting a seat there can be a pain in the ass as there is not much seating in the shop. Especially I am someone who doesn’t like standing beside a table, watching people eat, and waiting for them to finish and leave. It’s the same thing as I don’t like it when people stare at me while I’m eating.
Some negatives but overall, great hamburgers and attentive staffs.
