While walking around in Subang Parade desperately looking for something to do, I stumbled upon Gloria Jeans coffee. As I wondered whether to give it a try, I thought to myself that I had nothing better to do while waiting for my mother anyway so why not?
I had myself a hazelnut mocha chiller. What I thought was going to be a fantastic drink, turns out to be a wee bit disappointing. I couldn't even taste the hazelnut and it was pretty bitter. It wasn't bad but I don't want to order that again. I definitely prefer Pacific Coffee over this any-time.
Fungus on the strawberry
My most recent experience there was sadly, not a good one. I already found the ice blended drinks too sweet from my past visits there. So this time I chose a latte instead. The coffee was not bad but the bad experience came from the cake.
I got the raspberry yogurt cake, which is basically alternate layers of sponge cake with cream that is hopefully, made of yogurt. It came with a strawberry on top that had fungus growing on it. I've already eaten the cake halfway when I spotted the fungus. They did offer to change the cake but no apology was rendered until I continued looking at the staff to signal that I expect one.
