Famed for its wide selection of teas imported from Germany and for using tea leaves instead of tea bags, this coffee and tea house provides a laid back atmosphere with an English afternoon tea concept. The decor depicts that of an old English lifestyle when afternoon tea played an important role. The floral tablecloth as well as imported teapots and teacups help set the mood for the tea house. Italian coffee such as Cappuccino and Espresso are also served here.

Food standard is poor

I honestly don't understand the hype about this place. It's certainly been a disappointment for me when I visited the branch at Gurney Plaza. It's not my first time there but it's my first time trying their food items.

The waffles with apple and cinnamon that I had was not worth the price. I can get much better waffles from waffles kiosks like the Daily Fresh. The waffles was hard and tough and the apple ice cream that came with it was its saving grace although I do find the taste a little weird. The scones were not buttery and lacked the fragrance that comes with a British scone. I won't be back but I guess for those who love the taste of rose or other flowers infused into your food, you can give it a try. Oh and do note that their wifi can't be used although it can be detected.

Easily my favourite restaurant.

I've heard multiple things about this place, both good and bad. So I've decided to try it out for myself. As I entered, the atmosphere makes you feel very cozy, as if the place was made for you. The waiters also immediately welcome you and lead you to your sit, showing pretty good service.

Then comes the food. I ordered a set of carbonara spaghetti and their mixed fruit tea. The creamy sauce mixed in with slices of ham makes the spaghetti taste so wonderful, it's among my favourite dishes to eat! Their mixed fruit tea has a perfect mixture of multiple fruits, giving it a very rich flavour. With an average price of RM15 per person, this is definitely a must go for everyone.
