Jusco is a departmental store brand that originally started out as a kimono silk trader in Japan. Jusco stands for Japan United Stores Company. Jusco has been known for having their name on quite a few shopping malls around Malaysia but after a re-branding phase, those shopping malls are renamed to AEON while certain departmental stores still remain with the Jusco name.

It's Everywhere Now
As a kid growing up in Petaling Jaya, it is normal to associate Jusco with 1Utama shopping complex as it is the nearest place that has a Jusco department store. Now, Jusco is pretty much everywhere, albeit in a different name. That name is AEON. And the one in 1Utama pretty much grew together with the mall itself. I've never had any bad experiences shopping in Jusco so far.
Though I only come here during the sales season, I still do check this place out often. A belt that costs RM150 could easily be bought for RM45 during sales. When I bought a pair of pants for formal occasions, the lady was nice enough to ask me if I needed any further alterations to the pants. Just mention it and she'll get it done as fast as she could. Definitely shopping here in a month or so.
