Great place for gatherings
I have always understood the fact that steamboat restaurants all serve one purpose, they make great places for gatherings with friends and family but that's not to say that these places don't have their own specialties. This place in particular encourages customers to mix their curry and spices into the soup to make everything taste that much better. I don't see this being done in too many places so this is what makes it very memorable to me.
This place is always filled with people so my family thought that it must be really good so we went to this restaurant one fine evening.
We ordered the steamboat set which was quite cheap, cost around RM15-20 per person. However, the food was quite disappointing. Even though they claimed that the fishballs were homemade, the fishballs didn't taste spectacular, very much like the mass-produced one.
Till now, this place is still popular with many patrons during dinner time. I doubt that people come here because they like the taste of the food, but for the steamboat experience.
