Great place to hangout with some nice food on the side

The best thing that I like about this place is the ambiance. It is very homely and cozy , it also promotes itself as a cozy place to hangout with friends. Considering the fact that you will have anywhere between 8 am to 1 am , you will have plenty of time to do so. Many of the snacks are delicious, with my personal favorites being their fried spring rolls and their many different varieties of toast bread.

Tasty, simple, affordable!

Fook Yuen is one of my personal favorites when it comes to hangouts. This place operates till 1 am and I just love to sit here and have a chat with some friends over a glass of tea.

Of all the food served here, the place is well known for it's roti kahwin (kaya toast). The bread that they use is very different from all the others that I tasted. It has a very soft texture and sweet taste, even when we don't ask for the kaya spread. A perfect match for a side order of soft boiled egg served with a glass of teh tarik. The perfect combination. I however, I do not favor the pick and pay menu as I found most of the side dishes to be too oily.

This place is also pretty lively with a homely vibe to it, due to the yellow lighting in the background.
