Damn Huge Lens on Display
After a day of classes, I went on to continue my camcorder hunt around Sunway Pyramid. There's a Canon store nearby the money changer which I didn't notice until I looked at the directory. When I reached the place, I was quite surprised. I know how big lenses tend to be for DSLRs but the one on display was huge. I mean, lengthwise, it was had to be at least the length from my left arm to my right arm. I was wondering how people are actually supposed to use that or if that is just for show.
Anyway, they had demo sets for a few cameras but the one that caught my eye was the Canon HF R36. It is light, easy to use and it records in Full HD resolution. It seems pretty clear from the display but I'm not sure how it would look once it transfers to the computer. I asked the worker there about the camcorders and he was happy enough to provide technical details on it. Pretty satisfied by the attitude of the worker.
