Plan B is a modern coffee shop offering alternative brewing methods such as siphon, French Press and Pour Over for its coffees apart from the usual style. The cafe's modern Aussie-meets-New York-deli menu is set to serve hearty breakfasts, salads, sandwiches with freshly baked breads, and also a variety of cakes and desserts.

Don't go to the one at Paradigm Mall.

I have been to Plan B in Bangsar Village and their new branch at Paradigm Mall. And I have to say that both places vary greatly in terms of service. The people working at their branch in Paradigm Mall seems untrained and impatient whereas the one in Bangsar Village seems more capable of doing work.

In terms of food however, I find no differences whatsoever. I had a Double Cheeseburger and a Cappuccino at both places and it seemed fine. The burger was juicy and the meat was tender, just the way I like it. The size is pretty satisfying but it would've been better if it was the same size as the Old Timer in Chili's but at least it was better than whatever burger they had in Dome. The cappuccino tasted like similar to its counterpart in McCafe, except milkier.

Failed to meet my expectation.

I heard a lot of good comments about this place and it's always filled with people whenever I passed by there. Finally I went there for a try a day before Chinese New Year Eve. I went with a few friends of mine so I get to try more dishes. I find the dishes there were so-so only and some were not very nice. I think the best was the pasta with soft shell crabs. The Cheese burger was okay just that I dislike the salad that comes along with it. It tastes weird to me. Since we ordered a few dishes that comes with salad on the side, some were left untouched. None of us likes it. What puts me down was the red velvet cake. Appearance is deceptive, I guess that describes the best for the cake.
I guess the best part of plan b is the ambience and the service? The staffs were very friendly and I like the setting there. A nice place to chill out.
