It's one of those days where you feel like eating bread, and not Gardenia bread, but some baked goods. Although in my case, the craving probably came from me watching too much Yakitate Japan. For those who aren't aware of the anime, it is an anime about a boy on a journey on baking Japan's national bread.
Sounds silly doesn't it? But after watching a few episodes, I bet you'd have the same craving as I did. And onwards to Puchong, where I was supposed to go to my brother's house but made a few pit-stops along the way. I only bought some chocolate donuts and butter croissants. For something so simple, It definitely tasted good and much better than what you can find in King's confectionery.
People should come here, not only to buy some food, but to also look at how the bread is prepared there.
I have entertained the idea of being in the food and beverage industry for a few years now so it was a good learning experience when i stepped into the bakery with my wife.
Like all bakeries, the store is filled with the sweet scent of freshly made bread. Unlike other bakeries, this store actually serves very good pastries and bread which are affordable, delicious and comes in many new and different varieties which I have never seen before. The store has a clear window at the back where customers can see into the kitchen and observe new bread being made on the spot. It was quite interesting.
I picked a few buns and tasted them and they were quite delicious. I am highly interested to see if they would open up an outlet in Penang any time soon.
