The Suffolk House refers to two early residences built on the same site located some four miles west of Penang, on the banks of the Air Itam River . The earliest of the two buildings is notable for serving as the residence of Francis Light.

Historical significance only

So this place is only worth a look if you are a local or some one who is really interested in the history of Penang and how the building played a role in it. At this moment there is absolutely nothing else to see other than the building structure itself. Although it is still a fascinating place because it is preserved in it's natural state and has the influence of the British Collonial's structures.

Great place to spend an afternoon taking photos but I don't see anyone coming back here often after their first initial visit
