Queen Street or Lebuh Queen is one of the roads within the Original Grid of George Town as laid out by Captain Francis Light. It was named after Queen Charlotte (1761-1818), the wife of King George III.Today Queen Street has a predominantly Hindu character. There are many great food courts around the area which every tourist should experience at least once.

India's Queen street more like

Little India is located on this street. So you can imagine how festive and how there are stalls selling saris all over the place. I like to take a walk here when I'm bored because it never fails to cheer me up. Imagine seeing all these people busy doing business selling their items or selling their delicious Indian cuisine. You could also hear Indian music from music shops blasting at every corner. Think of it as background music

the is a famous hawker stall here that sells some of the best tandoori chicken in Penang and can only be found if you know where to look. I really should get better directions to the place as I had forgotten how to go there. The last time I went was with a friend who knew the place better than me.
