The Langkawi Sky Bridge is accessible by the Langkawi Cable Car and it sits at 700 meters above sea level. The views from here are amazingly scenic with the ocean and islands sitting like jewels at your feet.

Langkawi's very own crown jewel.
In our lives, I personally believe that there a reward awaiting us at the end of every journey and personally, I think that I had found my treasure chest at the end of the rainbow as I stepped out of the cable car.
One of thing that me mesmerized was the panoramic view. The whole stretch of the sky bridge is just a treasure chest of the beauty of nature that seems close enough to hold, but still so far away from our reach.
If you're a fan of photography, there's really nothing from stopping you from taking every angle of the view from your own perspective. Spark your creativity!
However, do take note that one should never ever forget their sunblock here. If you don't want to return with 3rd degree sunburns, make sure to rub it on all parts of your exposed skin. You seriously don't wanna hang around the bridge with no protection. And also, don't forget your sunglasses!
The first thing I thought upon stepping out of the cable car was the panaromic view around the Sky bridge. It was absolutely amazing. It has such a great view of the forest and mountains. One of the best few places in Langkawi to take some great photos around.
Always remember that it may take around 1 to 1.5 hours walk for the entire stretch of the sky bridge, so it's recommended to bring some sunblock before going, otherwise your skin might turn darker!
Put it on your Langkawi Must-Visit places.....
Definitely a superb attraction in Langkawi. Once you reached the peak via the cable car, you may hear the waves of co-ordinated incessant intense shrieking of crickets in the forested down below. Really an amazing experience of nature !
Enjoy the cool clean air and stroll around leisurely with the wispy clouds flowing pass the Sky Bridge. Certainly a fabulous vantage view point of Langkawi below. Those afraid of height may find their legs a little numb..as the bridge "shivers" a little. Relax, the bridge is sturdy and really a fantastic engineering feat ! Chill out with drinks and snacks at kiosks around the venue. Bring sun-block and a sense of adventure. :)
Allocate about 1-1.5 hour to stroll & enjoy the place.
Bring some sun-block
After stepping out of the cable car, I immediately realized that despite we were quite high above sea level, it was still uncannily hot and there was almost no shade to hide under. IF you're planning to take a long walk on the bridge, remember to bring some sun screen or sun block.
The sky bridge can be any photographer's dream photo shoot backdrop because there is just so many places, angles, plants and animals that one can take photos of. You could easily take impressive shots with the view of Pulau Langkawi beneath you. The place is hardly noisy even if there are many tourists as everyone is too busy admiring the view.
I also remember just standing near the railing and looking out and felt so small against the world. It was a peaceful feeling and that's what made me love the trip so much despite my fear of heights.
Great for a photo shoot!
The first thought that ran through my mind when I stepped out into the Sky Bridge was that it is the perfect place to hold a wedding photo shoot here. It's so pristine and not crowded at all, with amazingly breath-stealing sceneries available. Moreover, I can personally attest that the fresh mountain air up there is extremely energizing!
You can see the ocean speckled with the various islands of Palau Langkawi. Although we had some fog, but it was still a beautiful view with everything stretched out before us. the place itself is really clean and very well-kept. kudos to the staff for that!
Absolutely breathtaking scenery.
I’ve been to Langkawi for three times, mainly for water activities. I felt glad that my friends and I took the Panorama Langkawi ride.
The cable car brought us all the way up to the second highest peark in Langkawi Island. I was really impressed by the incredibly amazing scenery up there. Then, we decided to cross the Skybridge which connects two mountain peaks.
It took us awhile to reach the other end of the bridge as it is quite long. Standing on the bridge, I felt as if I was hanging in mid-air with jungles below my feet. It was a both thrilling and exciting experience.
Scenic view of Langkawi
This place is only reachable by cable car and it is worth to take a ride up. If you do not fancy scenic view from the mountain, then admire the architecture of the sky bridge. The sky bridge is made of wood and it took me about 1 hour to walk the whole stretch. I never thought I would take more than 10 minutes to finish the whole bridge but I end up taking a lot of picture of the bridge (and with the bridge) which basically took me 40 minutes. The place is chilling even you are there by 12 noon.
