Great for Kids
The Kuala Lumpur Bird Park makes for a great educational tour for people on the many different species of birds such as the peacock and the sparrow. I feel that it's more beneficial for the children but everyone has different opinions I suppose. The tour guide is really friendly and enthusiastic in his explanations. He seems to have no problems when people asked him questions like what does the bird eat.
The tour guide spoke of the everyday lives and survival of these birds and how the cleanliness of the environment is important. He told us how chewing gums looked like grains of rice for birds and that they often choke to death by eating these chewing gum leftovers. The bird park itself has this tropical theme going on which can be highly unusual for the people in Kuala Lumpur who are always stuck in their busy, city life.
